Lesion overlay. Summary overview of lesion locations in all 30 stroke patients with color indicating frequency of lesions. Right-sided lesions were mirrored to the left (LH-left hemisphere; RH-right hemisphere). All lesions are registered to normal space and displayed on a T1 template in Montreal Neurological Institutes (MNI) standard space, z-values of representative slices are given. Images were obtained using a high-resolution 3D magnetization-prepared, rapid acquisition gradient-echo sequence (MPRAGE).
