a In panel A, three probes on chromosome 5 (annotated to AHRR) passed the array-wide multiple testing threshold (p<1.16×10−7; red line). Note that two of these probes are within 4 Kb of each other. In panel B, we identified no significant associations when smoking pack-years was added as an additional covariate, which suggests that the association between adolescent polyvictimization and DNA methylation is confounded by smoking.
