The total homogenate has larger fold-changes and lower p-values than the microglia. B. Venn Diagram showing the number of unique and overlapping differentially expressed genes (p < .05) in each of the preparations. 164 genes were differentially expressed with alcohol in both the microglia and total homogenate. Of these 164 genes, 44% (72 genes) were changed in different directions in the two preparations.
