Protein was isolated from C3H/HeN mouse lung homogenates and ODC and OAT protein levels measured by western blot analysis. Representative western blot and densitometry levels for ODC in hyperoxia (n=3) compared to normoxic control (n=3) (A). ODC protein levels are significantly greater after 14 days of hyperoxic exposure than normoxic controls (*p<0.05). Representative western blot and protein levels for OAT in hyperoxia (n=3) compared to normoxic control (n=3) (B). OAT protein levels are significantly greater after 14 days of hyperoxic exposure than normoxic control (*p<0.05). All ODC and OAT protein levels are normalized to β-actin.
