Total light-exposed rosette area per plant determined at weekly intervals for the Col-0 (violet triangles) and low-vein-density Ei-5 (indigo diamonds) accessions of A. thaliana during 42 days of growth under a 9-h photoperiod of 1000 μmol photons m-2 s-1 at a leaf temperature of 20°C. Non-linear growth curves were generated using three-parameter logistic models (Paine et al., 2012). Mean values ± standard deviations, n = 4.
