Impact of reducing selected risk factor exposure on asthma cases among children 5–11 years of age. Based on an asthma prevalence of 9.6% from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to estimate 2,761,000 children with asthma. This figure considers only the main effect of the risk factor (without accounting for potential interactions)
