In 30 points of the drinking water network for six months, 176 water samples were collected, stored and transferred to the lab using standard methods and the drinking water quality; turbidity, pH, temperature, total dissolved solids, total hardness, calcium hardness, alkalinity, nitrate, phosphate, chloride, sulfate and free chlorine were measured. Alkalinity, total hardness and calcium hardness were measured by titration method; the hydrogen ion concentration (pH), temperature and total dissolved solids were analyzed with the HACH Multiparameter HQ 40d. Turbidity were measured with turbidimeter (model P2100 HACH); nitrate, phosphate, chloride, and sulfate were determined with HACH DR 2500 spectrophotometer, free chlorine were measured with HACH DR890 and compared with internal standards. |
