Clinical aspects∗ – The clinical classification was according to Baswan et al., 2017. Outcome 6 months of treatment∗∗: Complete cure the nail was fully recovered to its pre-infection appearance and no fungi could be observed in the sample; Partial improvement the ungual lesion was at least 50% smaller and only sparse fungi were present in the sample; Without improvement the appearance and size of the lesions remained similar to the state before the treatment began and abundant fungi were still present in the sample.
