During bilateral dialysis of 100 μM DAMGO (n=7) at night, there were no significant (P ≥ 0.348) interaction terms for any ventilatory variable of the two-way ANOVA comparing awake and NREM sleep (state and time). Data are means ± SE. Data from each state were averaged in 15 minute bins, the filled circles indicate the awake state and open circles indicate the NREM sleep state.
