A series of gating strategies were used to identify immune cell populations within the PPs: macrophages (F4/80+ MHC-II+); dendritic cells (CD11c+ MHC-II+); eosinophils (CD11B+ MHC-II- Gr-1+ CD193+ and CD11B+ MHC-II+ Gr-1+ CD193+); NK cells (CD49b+ TCR-); γδ T cells (γδ-TCR+ TCRβ-); B cells (CD45+ TCRβ- B220+); CD4+ T cells (CD4+ TCR+); CD8+ T cells (CD8+ TCR+); NKT cells (CD1d α-Galcer tetramer+ TCR+). No significant differences were observed in any immune cell types within PPs (A-I), n = 5/group.
