Expression of immune checkpoints and PD-L1 genes and methylation/demethylation genes in breast tumor and normal tissues. RNA isolated from breast tumor and normal tissues from eight patients were reverse transcribed to cDNA. Quantitative RT-PCR was performed to assess the expression level of PD-1, PD-L1, CTLA-4, TIGIT, TIM-3, and LAG-3 (a); TET1, TET2, TET3, DNMT3a, and DNMT3b (c) from both NT and TT. The relative expression of each gene was normalized to β-actin. Absolute expression of each gene was calculated by normalizing each gene to TIGIT expression (b)
