Administration with the tocotrienol-rich fraction (TRF) of palm oil improves exploration activity in AβPP/PS1 mice as measured by the open field test. A, B) Tg-ctrl mice displayed significantly lower total rearing time and number of rearings compared to WT-ctrl mice, while Tg-TRF mice showed a significant improvement in total rearing time and a slight increase in rearing frequency. C, D) The time spent in the field center and the frequencies of central entries were slightly higher in both WT-ctrl and Tg-TRF mice compared to Tg-ctrl mice, although the difference was not significant.
