Whole-cell fractionation of HEK293T cells shows that VPS33B and VIPAR form a complex that is considerably smaller than CORVET/HOPS and does not contain CCDC22. (A) HEK293T cell lysates were injected onto a Superose 6 10/300 GL gel filtration column and eluted fractions were analyzed by immunoblotting. (B) Immunoblot band intensities were quantified, normalized to the band of maximum intensity, and fitted to a Gaussian distribution (for all except FAM21, which could not be reliably fitted to a single Gaussian distribution).
