The curve corresponds to a model fitted for positive distances to the inoculum source: log(intCD) = 25.5 − 7.9 × (dInoc + 1.5) (R2 = 0.84) with ‘intCD’ the number of intercepted contaminated droplets per raindrop and per m2 of leaves and ‘dInoc’ the distance (height) to the inoculum source.
