miR‐541 negatively regulated the migration and invasion abilities of SCLC cell lines. (A, E) Compared with the control cells, the miR‐541‐overexpressing SK‐MES‐1 cells demonstrated a significantly lower migration capability. The migration distance (μm) of the SK‐MES‐1 cells was quantified (n = 3 for each cell group). (B, F) Compared with the control H226 cells, the miR‐541‐overexpressing H226 cells presented with a lower migration ability. The migration distance (μm) of the H226 cells was quantified (n = 3 for each cell group). (C, G) The results of the transwell invasion assay revealed that the invasion ability was significantly decreased in the miR‐541‐overexpressing SK‐MES‐1 cells. The quantified data are presented as the number of invading cells per HPF. For each cell group, n = 3. (D, H) According to the transwell invasion results, miR‐541‐overexpressing H226 cells also demonstrated a reduced invasion capacity. The quantified data are presented as the number of invading cells per HPF (n = 3 for each cell group). HPF, high‐power field.
