Using overlapping a-, b-, and y-ion series, the sequence was interpreted to be R-[I/L/O]-Q-C-C-S-H-[I/L/O]-A-C-N-V-D-H-P-E-[I/L/O]-C. Fragment ions also indicated decarboxylation and heterogeneity of the C-terminal amino acid.
