Effect of MEK1/2 inhibitors on the cytostatic actions of DETA/NO, SNAP, and DFMO in RASMC. Cell proliferation was assessed by thymidine incorporation into DNA during 24-h incubation, as described in Materials and Methods. U0126 (10 μM) or PD 098,059 (30 μM) was added to cells 30 min before test agents. Data were calculated and expressed as dpm/105 cells.
