Average of crack spacing as a function of applied strain for chromium/gold lines on PDMS. The chromium film thickness varies from 0.9 nm to 3.3 nm. The gold thickness was 21.6 nm. The strain was applied parallel to the direction of the lines. The data was gathered using several metal lines measuring 7.95 mm by 150 µm. For numerical values, see Supplementary Table S4.
