Effects of H and mH on production of proinflammatory cytokines. Cells were pretreated with H and mH for 1 h and then stimulated with LPS (1 μg/mL) for 24 h. Levels of interleukin (IL)-6 (A); tumor-necrosis factor (TNF)-α (B); and IL-8 (C) were determined by ELISA in culture media of RAW 264.7 (IL-6, TNF-α) and HT-29 cells (IL-8), respectively.
