Cancer stem cells in high-grade serous ovarian cancer ascites. (A) Isolated mononuclear cells from ascites of ovarian cancer patients (n = 13) were stained for CD45, NANOG, and HLA-ABC. NANOG positivity was assessed in the CD45− population to exclude immune cells. NANOG− and NANOG+ cells were gated and HLA-ABC expression was analyzed in both populations.
