Luminescence assay can be efficiently used to monitor action of potential therapeutics. (A,B) Graphs showing luminescence Firefly signals in relation to the Renilla in COS7 cells transfected with various constructs as indicated in the figure and treated with siCtrl and siluc2 delivered either 5 (A) or 36 (B) h post transfection. Note very efficient downregulation of the Firefly-based luminescence following siluc2 administration, but not siCtrl (n = 4). No difference in the luminescence was observed for either Firefly or Renilla for any of the tested constructs.
