Intra-group comparisons (T1 vs. T2) employed a paired-sample Wilcoxon signed rank test or paired-samples t-test to determine the significance of differences. Inter-group comparisons (IP6 diet vs. non-IP6 diet) employed an analysis of covariances after adjusting for dietary intervention levels to determine the significance of differences.
