Effects of cisplatin treatment and CLCN3 antisense transfection on matrix metalloproteinase expression, invasion and motility in U251 cells. Cells were transfected and treated with or without cisplatin (15 µmol/l) for 24 h. (A) MMP2 and MMP9 mRNA expression were detected by RT-qPCR. (B) Treated cells were detached and added to the upper compartment of an invasion chamber. The cells that invaded through the Matrigel were determined by light microscopy after 24 h (bar=100 µm).
