Absorbance was measured at 562 (corrected for absorbance at 630 nm), and the decrease in absorbance was measured after 72 h of incubation with amoxicillin and compared with the decrease in absorbance of the positive-control sample ([Et0 − Et72] of <25% of [EPOS,t0 − EPOS,t72]).
