Electrolysis was performed in a 2-compartment PEC cell with the working and counter compartment separated by a Nafion membrane. The working electrode was held in the dark for 1 h, followed by irradiation for 2 h using a solar light simulator (100 mW cm–2, AM1.5G filter, λ > 400 nm).
