Meta-analysis of high versus low level of leisure time physical activity (LTPA) before pregnancy reported in hr/week and odds of gestational diabetes (GDM). Estimates are expressed as odds ratios (OR) with their corresponding 95% confidence intervals, however x-axis uses lnOR scale. Longer hours (>90 min/week) of LTPA/week reduced the odds of GDM by 46% (OR = 0.54, 95% CI = 0.34–0.87; I2 = 70% (medium), p-value = 0.01). Due to insufficient number of studies reporting on LTPA in hr/week in early pregnancy, a meta-analysis could not have been performed.
