Yeast cells were inoculated on three different media concentrations, and plates from each media, showing almost the same number of yeast CFU were selected for sealing against germinating F. graminearum spores. The effect of VOCs released by yeast were tested on fungal growth and mycotoxin synthesis. The values, in each column, followed by different superscript letters are statistically different from each other at a p ≤ 0.05, b p ≤ 0.01 or c p ≤ 0.001.
