RANKL-induced osteoclast differentiation is inhibited by betulin. (A) BMMs were cultured for 4 days with RANKL (10 ng/mL) and M-CSF (30 ng/mL) in the presence of the indicated concentrations of botulin; (B) Multinucleated cells were fixed (3.7% formalin), permeabilized (0.1% Triton X-100), and stained with TRAP solution.
