IL-6 potentiates MCM bioactivity. Control medium alone (black bar) or supplemented with IL-6 (100 ng/mL; hatched bar) results in nonviable RMH359 cells. Hybridoma growth medium supplemented with 12.5% MCM (open bar) improves RMH359 cell viability >2-fold versus control.
