Hypothalamic and brainstem neurons in mice are acutely activated by C2816. cFos immunoreactivity in the dorsomedial, venromedial and paraventricular hypothalamic nuclei (DMH, VMH and PVH, respectively), and the nucleus tractus solitarius (NTS) and area postrema (AP) of the brainstem was quantitated 80 min following single injection of saline or C2816 (10 nmol/kg) to lean C57BL6J mice.
