(Right) A fraction of residues falling within the six partitions of the ϕ-ψ map (see Fig. 1) are shown as a function of the average confinement free energy (ΔA¯) taken over a sliding, nonoverlapping window of 100 conformational states, ordered by increasing values of ΔAioligo. A windowing average was taken to reduce noise and is different than the weighted average, ΔAoligo, which is taken across all conformations.
