PCa cell lines differ in endogenous IL‐6 expression. IL‐6 levels were measured in PCa cell lines by real‐time RT–PCR analysis using TaqMan probes. Relative levels for PC3 and DU‐145 cells, which expressed IL‐6, were calculated by the ΔΔC _t method using βactin expression as the normalizer.
