Equal amounts of retinal total RNA reverse transcribed to cDNA from three independent PKM2-WT and cone-cre PKM2-KO mice were used for real-time (RT)-PCR and were normalized to 18 S rRNA levels and ratios were calculated (cone-cre PKM2-KO/PKM2-WT).
