The calf-bioimpedance spectroscopy method that is used to estimate dry weight. The line represents the continuous value of the extracellular resistance ratio (R0/Rt). The flattening of the curve indicates that the excessive extracellular water in the patient’s calf had been removed. Dry weight is defined as the flattening of the curve over a period of 20 minutes.
