(A and B) qRT-PCR and western blot analysis of the GDF15 expression level in SPCA1 (A) and H1299 (B) cells transfected with the pcDNA-GDF15 vector. GAPDH protein expression was used as an internal control. (C) MTT assays were used to determine the viability of pcDNA-GDF15-transfected SPCA1 and H1299 cells. (D) Colony formation assays were performed to determine the proliferation of pcDNA-GDF15-transfected SPCA1 and H1299 cells. Colonies were counted and captured.
