BBR attenuated the H2O2-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. Exposure of D407 cells to 100 μM H2O2 resulted in an increase of ROS level. Pre-treatment of cells with BBR at 3 μM inhibited the H2O2-induced increase of ROS level in D407 cells. After pre-treatment with 3 μM BBR or 0.1% DMSO (vehicle control) for 2 h, D407 cells were incubated with or without 100 μM H2O2 for another 24 h. * indicates p < 0.05 versus the control group were considered statistically different. # indicates p < 0.05 versus the H2O2-treated group were considered statistically different.
