Knocking down the expression of AMPK by siRNA blocked the protective effect of BBR in D407 cells. (A) Cells were transfected with different concentrations of siAMPK for 48 h and the expression of AMPK or β-actin was detected by Western blotting; (B) Cells were transfected with 400 nM siAMPK, transfected cells were seeded in 96-well, 24 h later treated with 3 µM BBR or 0.1% DMSO (vehicle control) for 2 h and then incubated with or without 100 µM H₂O₂ for another 24 h.
