Nitric oxide synthases (NOS) activity in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons under tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) treatment. DRG neurons were treated with TNF-α (5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 ng/ml) for 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 h. The NOS activity was measured and expressed as fold-changes to that of untreated cells (designated as 1). *p<0.05 vs. immediate lower concentration; #p<0.05 vs. immediate previous time-point.
