Fig. 3 — Relative copy numbers of the candidate region. The copy numbers for the amplicon belt2 within the candidate segment were compared to the copy numbers of the reference sites in LPO and PRPN, respectively. Animals with a proven non-belted phenotype (highlighted in grey) clearly differ from those with a presumably heterozygous belted (green) or homozygous belted (yellow) genotype. The mean values of copy number ratios ± standard deviation are indicated for each group.
