Diffusion of Innovation framework (adapted from Rogers 2010). The framework centers on factors that affect adoption of ideas within the entire community. Engaging innovators and early adopters, those of whom that have early “buy-in” of the idea, will help to accelerate the dissemination process. The use of opinion leaders, who are perceived as being able to exert a large influence on the attitudes of individuals, may equate to a greater likelihood of buy-in to the idea and consequently behavior change
