An infant was born by vaginal delivery at gestation age 34+3 weeks with birth weight of 2,000 g, who was diagnosed with respiratory distress syndrome. (A) A chest X-ray reveals a ground-glass appearance in the right lung; (B) ultrasound shows A-lines in the left lung field; (C) in the right lung field, ultrasound shows multiple consolidations with air bronchograms and abnormality of the pleural line, which suggests RDS.
