TPM induced cellular stress in ovarian cancer cells. The production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in ovarian cancer cells was determined after incubating TPM-treated PC cells with 20,70-Dichlorofluorescein diacetate (DCFH-DA). TPM induced ROS production in a dose-dependent manner after 24 hours of treatment in OVCAR5 and SKOV3 cells (A). The expression of PERK and Bip after treatment of TPM for 24 hours was determined by western blotting. TPM induced PERK and Bip expression in a dose dependent manner (B).
