Table 5.

The malformation percentages of the erythrocyte in different Ozone concentrations

Concentrations 0 μg/mL 80 μg/mL 160 μg/mL P value
Malformation percentages of erythrocyte (%)
    AD group 3.78 (2.87-5.21) 5.65 (4.62-8.96) 13.24 (10.43-15.26)a,b <0.001
    Control group 5.23 (2.72-6.45) 5.36 (3.62-7.53) 10.32 (7.97-16.24)a,b <0.001
    P value 0.425 0.482 0.223

Data was presented as median (25th-75th). Comparison among different concentrations was determined by Kruskal-Wallis H rank sum test, and a Dunn-Bonferroni test for post hoc comparisons. Comparison between AD group and Control group was determined by Wilcoxon rank sum test. P<0.05 was considered significant.

a

Ozone concentrations 0 μg/mL vs 80 μg/mL or 160 μg/mL are significantly different (P<0.05);

b

Ozone concentrations 80 μg/mL vs 160 μg/mL are significantly different (P<0.05).

AD, aortic dissection.
