The most prevalent mutation, L150V, is colored blue. (B) Compound 1 stimulates ATPase activity (n = 2; error bars = SE) of WT MsbA in vitro. The L150V mutation attenuates this effect. In contrast, the inactive compound 2 does not affect ATPase activity.
