Blocking LLT1 on triple-negative breast cancer cells increased lysis of TNBCs by NK cells. A-C. Blocking LLT1 at the cell surface of TNBC cell lines MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-436 enhanced lysis of these cells by primary NK cells. MCF10A, MDA-MB-231, and MDA-MB-436 were blocked with anti-human LLT1 antibodies (αLLT1 in legend) or goat IgG isotype control antibodies (isotype control in legend). Cells were labeled with ⁵¹Cr and then were co-incubated with primary NK cells at effector-to-target (E:T) ratios of 25:1, 5:1, and 1:1 for 3.5 hours. Specific lysis of cells was subsequently quantified. These assays were performed in triplicates and error bars indicate standard deviations. *P < 0.05 & **P < 0.01, Student paired t-test compared to isotype control.
