Relationship between body size and brain volume in wild (red) and domestic (blue) rabbits. Highly significant correlations between body weight and brain volume (A), as well as between brain volume and foot length (B) were noted in domestic rabbits (body weight: r = 0.94, P < 0.001; foot length: r = 0.92, P = 0.001), but not in wild rabbits (body weight: r = 0.18, P = 0.66; foot length: r = −0.30, P = 0.48).
