Interaction analysis of pilin subunits and secreted protein CofJ. Pull-down assay was carried out for CofJ alone and the following pairs: CofJ and Trx-His-CofA and CofJ and Trx-His-CofB. The mixed samples were loaded onto Ni Sepharose beads that were then washed with buffer containing a low concentration of imidazole. Bound proteins were eluted with buffer containing a high concentration of imidazole and detected by SDS/PAGE. The molecular weight markers are indicated on the Left, and the position of each protein is indicated on the Right.
