The Pp3c12_24670 Promoter Is Active in Mature Tissues.
(A) In P. patens Pp3c12_24670pro:GUS lines, GUS staining was detected in subapical protonemal cells from 11-d-old cultures. Young gametophores from 14-d-old cultures showed no staining.
(B) Gametophores from 21-d-old cultures showed GUS staining in the more mature basal leaves.
