Top: in the absence of DNA, the substrate sediments with a sedimentation coefficient of 3.8S; Bottom: at a 4:1 protein:DNA ratio, the analysis shows a peak of 12.7S, suggestive of hexamer species based on the theoretical S20,w values obtained as described before [36].
