Effect of the supplementation with LOX/BMP1 supernatants on collagen deposition from fibroblast cultures. Collagen fractions as measured in Fig. 1 were analyzed in fibroblasts exposed to conditioned media from control or LOX- and BMP1-overexpressing cells and incubated with and without TGF-β1 for 4 days. (A) Soluble collagen in the supernatant. (B) Pepsin-solubilized collagen fraction associated to cell monolayer. (C) Insoluble collagen deposited into the matrix.
